Cooking With Kids - Potato Pancakes and Pear Bears

Cooking with my kids has become a regular activity for us, especially with my 3 year old. He just loves it!

This week we made Potato Pancakes and he helped measure out the ingredients and mix them together in a large bowl.

Mr 3 also helped me make a plate full of pear bears with mini cookie cutters. (where to find mini cookie cutters) I cut a pear into rounds for him to cut the bears from. It was a little tricky at first for him, but with practice he was mastering the cutting of his pear bears like a pro.

We popped all of the little bears onto a plate and saved some of the circle cut outs (that didn't get too damaged in the process!) to make fun patterns with.

I served the potato pancakes and pear bears he helped me make, along with some sausages in a fun bento-style meal with the help of some cute animal food picks. (where to find animal food picks)
