Teddy Sandwich Bento Lunch Box

Mr 2 is the foodie in my family, eating almost anything he is served. Sometimes though, he can be a little fussy. Lately he's been fussy with, of all things, sandwiches! I'll serve him his lunch and he'll nibble on his fruit and vegetables but barely touch his sandwiches.
I thought, maybe he's a little bored with sandwiches and I need to present his lunch in a more interesting and inviting format to entice him to eat. So, out came my box of Bento Supplies...
I used a Mini Teddy shaped cutter to cut little Teddy's out of his peanut butter sandwich. I placed each Teddy on top of a dried apricot - one of his favorite treats! I figured that if he wanted to enjoy his apricot, he'd have to eat his sandwich first. This backfired a little as he simply lifted each teddy to remove the treat hiding underneath.
There are also grapes in a flower cup and frozen corn in a star cup.
Thankfully, presenting his lunch in this bento inspired box resulted in him devouring his peanut butter sandwich Teddy's (and the rest of his lunch too) - a great success in my opinion!
I'd love to hear from you - what tricks do you do when faced with a fussy eater?

Very cute bento! I find that cute shapes and fun themes help a lot with fussy eaters but there are some things I just can't get them to eat and it changes. I love your mini hand cookie cutter and your supply box is so organized!
Thanks so much for your comment. Some great ideas there!
So cute!!!! :-D
BTW I am hosting a gala dinner extravaganza, a fabulous linky party for all. Please come and join the fun. You can post anything - appetizers, drinks, soups, stews, desserts, finger foods - anything that takes your fancy. You can also post party decor or other party related ideas.

Thanks for the invite - will check it out!
Love your organized box of supplies... mine, few that they are, are kind of scattered all over at the moment :) 2 year olds (and 3, I'm finding) can be such a challenge when they go through all of their silly little stages... love your creative solution! (Isn't it crazy how the same food in a different presentation can make all the difference??!!)
Thanks for linking up to Food Adventure Friday!
Thanks! I know. He's usually such an incredible eater, so only needed a teeny bit of coaxing! Thanks for hosting :)
