Dreaming of Spring - Muffin Tin Meal
We're experiencing Autumn here in Australia. I created this Muffin Tin Meal for Mr 3 to initiate a chat about the seasons and that it's spring in other parts of the world. A beautiful time when all the flowers bloom, amazing butterflies are fluttering in gardens and cute little bunnies hop through the fields.
This "Dreaming of Spring" Muffin Tin Meal actually includes a little of each of the 5 food groups, so is a nutritiously balanced Muffin Tin Meal:
French Toast Flowers - Protein = Egg; Carbohydrate = Bread; Dairy = Milk
Green Apple leaves and a Butterfly - Fruit
Carrot Rabbit - Vegetable
2 flower cups with Frozen Sweetcorn - Vegetable
He took great pleasure in biting the ears off his carrot bunnies. Maybe I should be worried?! To my delight he actually finished the whole Muffin Tin Meal, when usually he leaves bits of the veggies behind.
Happy Spring to those of you in the Northern Hemisphere - please give a tiny thought to those of us "Down Under" heading towards winter!

I think ears go first with carrot bunnies and chocolate ones! Cute lunch!
How super cute. I love the french toast! (And I see you have a Passover cookbook and am all over that right now! Off to click the link!)
This is really cute! I think I'd bite the ears off first too.
It's great that you were able to give a little reminder of Spring with you in Autumn. Cute tin!
I gave him the carrot bunnies for his kinder lunch yesterday and all he ate was the ears!! Carrot Bunny Ears Must just be extra sweet!
We had a gloomy day today, even though we are well into spring. I didn't think about how those on the other side of the world might be on opposite seasons!!
Love the apple shapes! Thanks for linking up this week!
